- History – As a trading post in the 1860’s, Milliken was established by visionaries wanting to develop a railroad line from Denver to Seattle. Named in honor of Judge John Milliken, the town was recognized by the State as the Town of Milliken in October, 1910.
- Economy – Initially, Milliken was a rural trading post, then flourished as a railroad and cattle ranching community.
